We are seeking an Associate Architect in Bengaluru, India to support the design, technical development, and documentation of architectural projects from Design Development through Construction Administration. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in BIM-based project delivery, construction documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination alongside experienced architects and project teams, translating design intent into accurate, constructable documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project teams throughout design and construction phases.

• Develop and maintain BIM models and project documentation under supervision.

• Assist in preparing architectural drawings, schedules, and technical details.

• Participate in multidisciplinary coordination activities.

• Support document production and construction documentation efforts.

• Assist with design reviews, technical studies, and project research.

• Coordinate assigned tasks with project team members and consultants.

• Support QA/QC processes and adherence to project standards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Learn and apply project delivery standards and BIM best practices.

Technical Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural plans, elevations, sections, details, and schedules.

• Assist in the development of BIM models and project documentation.

• Support coordination of architectural designs with structural and MEP disciplines.

• Assist in producing construction documents and technical packages.

• Ensure assigned work complies with project standards, codes, and design intent.

• Support façade, interior, and building systems documentation efforts.

• Participate in model reviews and coordination meetings.

• Assist during construction administration by responding to documentation updates and project requirements.

Role Dimensions

• Project scope: architectural projects requiring design support, BIM modeling, technical documentation, and coordination assistance under the guidance of senior architects and project leadership.

• Decision-making: performs assigned project tasks and technical deliverables under the direction and supervision of senior team members.

• Client interaction: limited interaction with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders as part of coordination activities.

• Commercial exposure: basic awareness of project schedules, deadlines, and delivery requirements.

• Success metrics: accuracy and quality of drawings and BIM models, timely completion of deliverables, compliance with standards, and growth in technical, BIM, and architectural knowledge.

Required Qualifications

• Education: professional degree in Architecture required.

• Experience: 1–3 years of professional architectural experience; internship or professional experience in architectural design and documentation preferred.

• Must have: Revit, ACC, Bluebeam.

• Preferred: SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper, Lumion, Twinmotion, Navisworks (basic).

• Proficiency in Revit and BIM-based workflows; understanding of architectural drafting, modeling, and documentation.

• Basic knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and detailing; familiarity with construction documentation processes.

• Understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards.

• Knowledge of visualization and digital design tools is an advantage.
