Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical power, lighting, ELV, and grounding systems

• Prepare load calculations, single line diagrams (SLDs), layouts, BOQs, and technical documentation

• Ensure compliance with Kahramaa, QCS, IEC, and BS standards

• Coordinate with HVAC, architectural, and structural teams throughout design development

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor technical proposals

• Support authority approvals, design reviews, and technical meetings

• Conduct site visits and provide design clarifications and technical support as required

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Qatar

• Prior experience within an engineering consultancy environment

• UPDA Certification – Mandatory

• Proficiency in Arabic (required) and English (professional level)

• Must hold a valid QID with transferable visa

• Strong understanding of local authority processes and electrical codes

• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary project teams

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple design tasks effectively
