We are looking for experienced HSE Officers for a civil construction project at Ras Abu Fontas, Qatar, covering site inspections, risk assessments, permit-to-work compliance, incident reporting, and day-to-day promotion of a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards and procedures.

• Conduct regular site inspections and identify unsafe conditions and practices.

• Prepare and deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.

• Assist in risk assessments, JSA and JHA, and implementation of control measures.

• Monitor proper use of PPE and safe working practices.

• Ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.

• Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts or conditions.

• Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and related documentation.

• Coordinate with site management and workers to resolve safety issues.

• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.

• Promote a strong safety culture across the project site.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant HSE experience on civil construction projects in Qatar.

• NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of Qatar HSE requirements, construction safety standards, and site safety procedures.

• Experience conducting site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

• Ability to identify hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.

• Good knowledge of PTW, toolbox talks, JSA and JHA, incident reporting, PPE, and emergency procedures.

• Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with company and project HSE policies.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience on major civil construction projects in Qatar is preferred.
