Key Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC system design for residential, commercial, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use projects

• Prepare and review HVAC design calculations, layouts, schematics, BOQs, and technical specifications

• Ensure compliance with QCS, ASHRAE, NFPA, and relevant local authority requirements

• Coordinate closely with architectural, electrical, and structural teams throughout design development

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor technical proposals

• Participate in design coordination meetings and client presentations

• Guide, mentor, and support junior HVAC engineers

• Support authority submissions and approvals, including MME, Ashghal, Kahramaa, and Civil Defense

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Qatar

• Proven background within an engineering consultancy environment

• UPDA Certification – Mandatory

• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills

• Proficiency in Arabic (required) and English (professional level)

• Must hold a valid QID with transferable visa

• Hands-on experience leading multidisciplinary HVAC design teams

• Strong understanding of local authority processes and approval workflows

• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and timelines
