Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ICU Doctor to join a reputable healthcare facility in Qatar. The ideal candidate must be an Arabic national with a minimum of five years of clinical practice within Qatar, possessing strong expertise in managing critically ill patients and providing high-quality intensive care services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans for ICU patients.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed.

• Lead and participate in daily ICU rounds with the healthcare team.

• Perform emergency procedures, including intubation, resuscitation, ventilator management, and other life-saving interventions.

• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

• Communicate effectively with patient families, providing updates and counseling as required.

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and regulatory standards in Qatar.

• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

• Participate in on-call duties, emergency response teams, and clinical audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Arabic nationality (mandatory).

• Minimum 5 years of ICU/critical care practice in Qatar (mandatory).

• Valid Qatar Medical License (QCHP) or eligibility for licensing.

• MD/MBBS degree with specialization in Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, or Pulmonology.

• Advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, and preferred FCCS.

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to handle high-pressure situations.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficiency in Arabic is mandatory; English communication skills will be an added advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multi-disciplinary ICU cases.

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

• Knowledge of Qatar healthcare regulations and hospital standards.
