Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems including plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and utilities

• Prepare detailed design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

• Ensure designs comply with QCS, NFPA, and relevant local authority requirements

• Coordinate closely with HVAC, electrical, architectural, and structural teams

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and contractor technical submissions

• Participate in authority submissions, design reviews, and project coordination meetings

• Provide technical support during site inspections and respond to design-related queries

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in Qatar within a consultancy environment

• UPDA Certification – Mandatory

• Proficiency in Arabic (required) and English (professional level)

• Must hold a valid QID with transferable visa

• Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and authority approval processes

• Excellent coordination and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet project deadlines
