We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect for Network & Security to act as a technical authority for strategic opportunities in Doha, Qatar. The role leads complex, multi-domain ICT and cybersecurity solution architecture, governs design quality across the architecture team, and mentors architects and engineers. It also carries responsibility for site and service delivery — owning delivery quality, site execution and service performance across strategic projects — and operates as a peer to the existing Senior Solution Architect, sharing design-authority, strategic-bid and delivery-leadership load.

Strategic Solution Architecture

• Design enterprise ICT and cybersecurity solutions for strategic and multi-domain opportunities.

• Lead HLD creation for the most complex bids.

• Conduct technical workshops with customer architecture and security teams.

Design Governance

• Conduct design reviews for HLDs produced by mid-level and senior architects.

• Enforce architecture standards and design consistency.

• Approve BOQ validations performed by senior architects on strategic bids (architects validate and approve BOQs; solution engineers prepare them).

Technical Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor architects and engineers against the competency matrix.

• Maintain design-review checklists and HLD templates.

Strategic Presales Support

• Support strategic bids as the named technical authority.

• Conduct executive-level customer presentations.

Site Delivery Assurance

• Lead and manage site and service delivery — owning project transition, site execution and service performance for strategic projects.

• Arbitrate design-versus-delivery technical disputes.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in ICT / Network & Security solution design, with 4+ years architecting enterprise, multi-domain solutions in a System Integrator or OEM environment.

• Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Computer Science / IT (Master’s preferred).

• Mandatory certifications: Expert-tier (CCIE or HCIE) or CISSP, plus an architecture method (TOGAF Certified preferred).

• Technical skills: Authority-level network and security architecture; advanced datacenter and cloud architecture; HLD authority; BOQ validation and sizing logic; OEM technical engagement (Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei, Palo Alto or equivalent).

• Domain knowledge: Enterprise networking, perimeter and internal security, segmentation / zero-trust, secure datacenter and cloud designs; Qatar market and NCSA-QCSF awareness preferred.

• Behavioural: Executive-level customer presence; design governance discipline; mentoring ability; able to operate as design authority under bid pressure.
