We are seeking a Senior Specification Specialist to lead the technical specification of architectural and sports venue products across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. Based in Riyadh, the role is responsible for embedding solutions into early-stage project designs, drawings, BOQs and masterplans through direct engagement with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers and government authorities. The position focuses on driving product approvals, securing project specifications, and influencing design decisions at the earliest stages of project development across major infrastructure, commercial and sports venue developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the specification of architectural and sports venue products into project drawings, BOQs, design documents, and masterplans across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

• Build and maintain strong technical relationships with consultants, architects, engineers, contractors, developers, suppliers and government entities.

• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and specification support aligned with structural, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Interpret and analyze architectural drawings, structural plans, and tender documents to ensure accurate product integration and compliance.

• Manage material submittals, technical documentation, and coordinate with internal engineering and compliance teams to secure approvals.

• Track project pipelines, early-stage design opportunities, and tender announcements to influence specifications from concept phase.

• Conduct site visits and technical meetings with consultants and engineering stakeholders to resolve application and specification challenges.

• Ensure continuous follow-up on product approvals, compliance requirements, and specification status within CRM and tracking systems.

• Liaise with internal technical, design, and project teams to ensure alignment of specifications with project requirements and codes.

• Support value engineering discussions by providing technically sound alternatives without compromising compliance or performance standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related structural/engineering discipline (mandatory).

• Professional certification or registration with an engineering authority (e.g., Saudi Council of Engineers) is highly advantageous.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in specification management, architectural technical sales, or design/consulting roles in Saudi Arabia.

• Strong experience in architectural and sports venue projects (stadiums, arenas, indoor sports facilities, large-scale developments).

• Proven track record of successful product specification and approvals within GCC projects.

• Strong understanding of building materials, architectural systems, structural requirements, and construction codes.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents.

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic is highly preferred.

• Strong commercial and technical coordination skills with consultants and project stakeholders.

• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.
